My client are recruiting for a Category Manager to take ownership of a high growth area of the business.
Selling outdoor leisure products online, you will be identifying and introducing new products to an existing and expanding range.
This is a newly created commercial role requiring someone who can demonstrate where they have had an impact on increased sales by identifying new products in a competitive industry.
You will have responsibility for the complete range in terms of product selection and positioning as well as merchandising duties. This Category Manager will demonstrate their skills and experience in managing the supply chain process on an international level, including specifically, India and China.
You will have experience of managing a full range of products to influence and maximise sales and profitability of the department.
Competitor analysis and season appropriate product identification is a key element of the job.
Selling direct to customers online, you will have ownership of the product journey which will including managing the company website, Amazon and eBay relationships including product positioning, co-ordinating PPC and analysis of sales.
Experience within the outdoor leisure industry would be an advantage.
My client are based on the outskirts of Basingstoke in a rural setting and your own transport is essential, free parking is provided.
The salary range advertised includes OTE in line with their bonus scheme.
The range advertised is broad as a competitive offer of base + bonus will be made to attract a strong individual based on experience.
