Accounts Administrator – £24K – Winchester

This is a great opportunity to join a busy and supportive accounts team where you will be involved with a variety of administrative and financial duties.

My client are offering the chance to work in a friendly and supportive team where you will get a great overview of how an accounts department works and you will be a key person to assist with a range of duties.

The role requires good Excel, the ability to work with numerical information and excellent attention to detail. You will be organised in your approach to your work and be able to follow processes and work with different databases. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you may also have the opportunity to get involved with a variety of projects.

My client are looking for someone who is keen to learn, who has excellent attention to detail and the confidence to liaise with different departments across the business as well as customers and suppliers.

This is a full time role, based in the office, where you will be involved with the following duties:

  • Editing spreadsheets
  • Data entry
  • Manipulating data
  • Registering products and matching up pricing information
  • Following processes
  • Reconciling financial information
  • Updating prices
  • Taking payments
  • Filing invoices and relevant documentation
  • Answering phone calls and emails

Working in a small and friendly accounts team, you will be involved with a variety of financial administration duties to assist the team.

This Accounts Administrator role will involve using MS Office including Excel and Outlook as well as in-house databases. My client are looking for someone who has excellent attention to detail and who is keen to work with financial and numerical information.
